Comment Challenge 2011: Sign-Up

Today begins Comment Challenge 2011. Running through Wednesday, January 26, the goal is to comment on five book blogs a day. Keep track of your numbers, report in on Wednesdays for support, and comment like you mean it for three weeks. At the end, we’ll award prizes at random to bloggers who’ve passed the 100 Comment Mark — along with some random participation prizes at the ending and check-in posts. If you have any questions, check out the FAQs or ask in the comments on that page.

Edited to add: I posted at midnight last night, but now I can add the link to Lee Wind’s Comment Challenge post of amazing and inspiring ideas. So sign up here, and then go there to get motivated and, you know, to comment.

Comment away!

  25. Thanks for hosting this.
Your Comment Challenge last year transformed me from a lurker, into a commenter - something which I didn't think was possible.
The Comment Challenge - sure, it's about comments, but for me, it was impetus to start reading even more blogs... which in turn, inspired new ideas on my own blog!

  29. I will be on my annual Retreat Week next week and out of contact with the world to as great an extent as possible. But, otherwise, I'm feeling more social than usual, so I'll see what I can do the rest of the time. And as Greg said above--this post counts as Number 1!!!

Thank you so much for hosting this again!

  39. This is an amazing way to get book bloggers together. I hope to learn more about authors, illustrators and publishers. I also enjoy learning about different organizations that promote literacy with a passion! Already have seen so many good sites and suggestions to have fun reading. Thanks for all you do.

  70. Lee said to check in over here now that the CC is coming to a close--I assume this post is the right spot? Anyway, I have posted 5 comments per day throughout, cleaned up my blog roll, and read some very cool posts. Thanks!

  71. Whew! This last week was a tough one, and I didn't write many comments. The first two weeks went much better. Overall, I discovered many wonderful blogs that I'll be reading from now on, and received some great comments on my own. While I don't think I'll attempt 5 comments a day, I will try for 2 to 3. Great challenge!
