I don&amp;#39;t have the joys of Amazon Prime so mine is still on the way. :) I&amp;#39;m still anticipating Winterling by Sarah Prinneas because it hasn&amp;#39;t arrived yet (but should today or tomorrow). After that I will have to wait until March when Rebecca Barnhouse&amp;#39;s Peaceweaver comes out (the book I am the most excited about this year).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And my kids are very much anticipating The Duckling Gets a Cookie?! I regret the day I showed it to them on Amazon. They ask at least once a week if it is out yet. Only three more months of that. And I don&amp;#39;t always like every book from even favorite authors. So I prefer to wait until I&amp;#39;ve heard from some trusted sources before getting too excited. I hear a film review once say she was walking into a much-anticipated film with another well-known critic and she told him how excited she was. He said, &amp;quot;I prefer to be excited on my way out of the theater.&amp;quot;</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21301089/1383751411854892972/comments/default/1346121858179109802'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21301089/1383751411854892972/comments/default/1346121858179109802'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.motherreader.com/2012/01/reading-anticipation.html?showComment=1326215390754#c1346121858179109802' title=''/><author><name>Jim Randolph</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07690406470351639188</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='24' height='32' src='http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xtVhAieRJ8o/S_5-n-BKmlI/AAAAAAAAC_Y/2Dy17TEFG0E/S220/IMG_5303.JPG'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.motherreader.com/2012/01/reading-anticipation.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21301089.post-1383751411854892972' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21301089/posts/default/1383751411854892972' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1897225264'/></entry></feed>
