I agrees that the book collections of poetry, non fiction and fiction don't feel right, but that's because most of what I read and shared with my sons was fiction. However there are some wonderful poetry books out there for boys beyond the obvious (like Shel Silverstein) such as Beastly Boys and Ghastly Girls by William Cole. My kids adored that one.The Pen and Ink Blogspothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01709195512534318571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21301089.post-12385544957969333562011-05-09T14:57:33.828-04:002011-05-09T14:57:33.828-04:00I am amember of SCBWI and I have a book for young ...I am amember of SCBWI and I have a book for young readers that hasn't been reviwed as yet. The publishers of Cesars Way, the offical magazine of Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer, has requested a copy for possible review in the summer edition of the magazine and I have my fingers crossed that they will like it. Storee Wryter Gets a Dog is the title and in it Storee learns to train a therapy dog and gets inspiration for her writing. Includes writing prompts for kids.
