Holy cow! I didn't think it was humanly possible to read for 48 hours straight. Amazing!! My hat is off to them for sure.

Pam, thank you so much for doing this challenge every year and for rounding up such great prizes. It is just fabulous. Now I am going to spend some time reading blogs!

As for the not sleeping, I have an unfair advantage. I was in an accident in january of last year that left me with back pain that makes it -very- hard to get to sleep anyways. I commented briefly about it on my blog, but, as I said there I'm used to staying up for extended periods of time. But, doing it and reading was much more mentally exhausting than I thought it would be. Stumbleupon is my normal curse, so I figured reading a book for that period of time wouldn't be hard. But, when I promised myself that I would, that was that. I'm still paying the price for it. Still groggy, don't think my brain has recovered from the exercise x.X!

Trust me it was hard not to want to nod off! What I ended up doing was playing very up beat music that kept me focused and driven to read, and read and read. Not to mention got to love coffee! Trust me though by 9 am Sunday morning, coffee wasn't working! So I am just glad this wasn't the 72 hour challenge!

The thing that's so great about this contest is the mix of books. My "to read" list is getting yet longer. (However, I will say that when it comes to sleep deprivation, you teens have a distinct edge. :)

Craziness. I just woke up a few minutes ago after an abundant 15 hours of sleep. I was amazed to spot Liyana, and to know there's two other people. That's crazy. Too much crazy in the world xD.

Congratulations to everyone that put in their time and effort. I enjoyed it lots even though towards the end I was hating myself.
