But not with me, with Papa Lee! Head over and share how the Comment Challenge is working out for you. After a slow start, I've found it surprisingly easy to get back into the grove of commenting. It does take a little more of my online time, but I feel more connected to what I am reading. And to whom I'm reading, because I'm making sure to explore new-to-me blogs. I'll have to talk more about that later. Right now I am on track with my five-a-day comments and loving it.
Check in with Lee Wind to share your stories and to tell that nice guy a big Happy Birthday!

I love it...I am commenting all over the place...and I am getting more comments too...
The comment challenge is great! We're developing community, sharing ideas, and creating more brand awareness for everyone involved. Kudos to you and Lee!
Yeah, yeah. I checked in with Lee today. I wanted to tell you that I appreciate your advice to not set the comment bar too high.
The first year I accepted this Challenge, I would read 10 - 15 posts before commenting on 5. It took a long time, and I didn't do so well.
This year, I decided I would comment not just on five blogs, but on every blog post I read, whether I had something insightful or brilliant to say or not. I may not have time to read 15 posts, so I'm going to comment on the first 5 I read.
It was hard at first. I felt dumb. But it's actually getting easier---wonder of wonders. I'm not even saying "I'm here because of the Comment Challenge" thereby somehow justifying my lame comment. I'm just commenting.
Thanks for remembering our blog birthday! It's been an amazing six years here in the Kidlitosphere, hasn't it?!?!?
I've been moderately commenting... not up to the challenge but it's probably 300% more than usual. Enjoying seeing new sites from your list that I never would have stumbled across on my own. Let's see how week 2 goes.
Just found the challenge today so am arriving a little late to the game. I like the idea of shifting perspective from blogging in the wilderness to joining an online dialogue. Kudos to all!
